Hundreds of strangers show up for sick dog’s final walk

Remember on Friday I told you about Walnut the Greyhound, the heartbreaking story about a man's best friend who was sickly?

His owner had made the call to have him put down and to end his suffering, but before he did, he wanted to go on one last walk with him on his favourite beach.

He also put the word out on social media to other dog lovers, family, and friends to invite them to join them.

So what happened on his final walk? Well, hundreds of people turned up, some with dogs, but all of them to be at the celebration of Walnut's life.
