'Legendary' creature wraps tentacles around man's paddleboard
When this man went out into the ocean he did not expect this to happen.
It seems that things we would only expect to happen in movies are happening more and more in real life.
There is a video doing the rounds on social media of a giant squid wrapping its tentacles around a man's paddleboard.

In the video, South African paddleboarder James Taylor pays no mind to the sea creature as it lays its tentacles across his board. How can someone be so calm in what looks like a scene out of a horror movie?
Despite their squishy appearance, these sea creatures are strong and have muscles. However, this particular one was in no state to put up a fight.
James spoke to Earth Touch News Network and added: "It was quite badly injured and barely alive when I caught it. It didn't even really try and get away, so we ended up putting it out of its misery when we got to the beach. It felt like the best thing to do at the time."
