Photographer removes phones from photos to show a sad reality

These pictures are pretty unsettling, don't you think?
Photographer Eric Pickersgill has released photographs showing the reality of how technology can affect our lives. The photo series, called 'Removed', shows how distant we are from one another even if we are in the same room.

I recently took Instagram and Facebook off my devices at home and I can't tell you how much free time I have now. More time spent with my family as opposed to looking for the perfect shot and spending time browsing other people's versions of their lives.
