Footage shows moment man tries to kidnap child

This is not the first time this type of footage has surfaced.

In the clip you see a mom turning her back for a second in a grocery shop, and when she turns back some strange man has picked her child up out of its chair.

What shocks me more than the idea of turning around and your child is not there, is how calm the mother seems to be.

In both clips I have seen in a similar vein the mother is as cool as a cucumber. Had that been me, I would have opened a can of whoop ass on him and clutched my baby back! Maybe it's the sheer bewilderment which comes across as calm?
