Extreme body tanning gone horribly wrong!

To save a buck or two, we all try home remedies and DIY skin regimes. For this woman though, she should have just paid for the job to get done...

Oooooh, a DIY story gone bad is something most ladies can identify with. Be it a hair dye gone wrong, a tan or nail job - the list goes on, we each have a story to tell.

People are very into getting all golden and bronzed, and they want it to look as natural as possible. Tanning can be crazy expensive, especially considering that in order to keep the look going you would have to go to a salon every other week. 

A young woman, Ebony Foley, tried out a darker than dark tanning mousse and had a really bad experience. The mousse turned Ebony’s skin a much, much darker shade than her natural complexion. She hid indoors and I don't blame her. She looks like she had a fight with a chocolate pudding!

She and her boyfriend were forced to scrape the tan off of her! Ouch.

I once decided during school holidays I was going to apply long false nails. So I went off to the shop and bought the box of plastics talons and a little bottle of what looked like liquid wood glue. I excitedly stuck the nails onto my very weak nails (I have always been a nail biter) and as the hot glue seeped into my paper thin nail bed, I felt fear set in.

Fast forward a few hours later and my mom walked into the kitchen late that night to find me sobbing while trying to pry the nails off with a bread knife. Needless to say, I have never gone the DIY nail route again!
