KZN responds to possible alcohol sales

There's a good chance alcohol will be on sale again in some parts of the country from June - if President Cyril Ramaphosa’s expectations are met.

Liquor stores are reportedly worried about the surge of customers, so they have asked for a few rules to be put in place to keep the crowds at bay.

They want longer trading hours and they also want limits to be put on the amounts people can buy during the first few weeks.
They have even proposed introducing the sale of alcohol alphabetically, meaning people with surnames from N to Z will have to wait an extra day.
Bearing in mind they might have limits on what you buy, East Coast Drive asked KZN: If they gave you a choice between a case of beers, a bottle of spirits or five bottles of wine, which would you buy?
