Jacob Zuma's fumble explained

If you've not yet seen the video clip of President Jacob Zuma struggling with numbers during a speech, find it right here.

In fact, you need to watch the clip for this all to make sense.

Zuma was speaking at the governing party's National General Council in front of thousands of delegates.

All went well until Zuma had to read out the ANC's membership figures when he made a mess of it.

East Coast Drive has investigated the error and we are able to explain it as follows.
