Eight-year-old survives terror attack by mountain lion
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
What started off as an innocent walk to talk to a neighbour, quickly turned into a terrifying experience for a young lad when his head ended up in a puma's mouth.

According to SkyNews, Pike Carlson was playing with his older brother George. He decided to talk to the neighbour down the hill when the mountain lion attacked him outside their home in Colorado.
Pike said he was punching him, and grabbed anything he could find to hit it. He found a stick and started poking it in its eye, but soon the strick snapped.

George went to get help, and when his dad Ron arrived, Pike's head was in the creature's mouth. Ron managed to scare the puma away.
The eight-year-old has had two surgeries and may need a third to repair part of his eyelid after last month's attack.
Talk about a close call!
