VIDEO: Show us your Happy Gilmore
2013 saw the launch of The Fin Cup, where two giants of sport in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Sharks Rugby and Dolphins Cricket, take each other on in another sport… Golf!
The competition is played in a Ryder cup format at both the Beachwood and Durban Country Club courses, on 6 separate days.
Last year the Dolphins ran away with the first 2 days of competition, only to be faced with a tremendous fight back from the highly competitive Sharks team. The Dolphins were the eventual winners by just a single point.
This year the competition kicked off with the first match of six being played at DCC on the 2nd July.
The Sharks will once again be captained by Charl Macleod and the Dolphins will be led by a new captain in Robbie Frylink.
There will be some exciting golf, lots of testosterone, and some good laughs too!
Darren has been invited to join in the fun tomorrow morning and he needs a golfing partner!
