VIDEO: Dramatic runway near-miss
An amateur video has been released of the moment an aeroplane is forced to abort its landing to avoid crashing into another aircraft taxing on the runway.
The dramatic footage was filmed by an aviation enthusiast on Saturday.
It all took place at Barcelona's El Prat Airport.
The footage shows a passenger plane taxi across the same runway on which a Russian jet was about to land.
The pilot immediately decides to abort the landing seconds before disaster.
The UTair Boeing 767-300 then flies, circling several times before landing minutes later.
It is not yet known which of the aircraft had been given clearance.
