Is there a case for Oscar Pistorius?
Updated | By Darren Maule

Terence Pillay was saying on The Breakfast Stack this morning on @ecr9495 what a sorry state of affairs our personal security is in - at home in South Africa and recently in the Upper Highway Area in Durban.
What to do then, when the S.A.P.S seem to be talking at cross purposes? Spokesman Vincent Mdunge says there is no cause for alarm, but KZN Police Commissioner MMamonye Ngobeni has set up a task team to address this issue. Then when pressed for some statistics, Ngobeni avoids the issue completely, going so far as to say that ECR’s Thrishney Subramoney was taking a Pot-shot at the police.
For Terence’s whole piece including some more than astounding interviews, go to:

When you hear of statistics like this and more importantly the apathy or ignorance or denial from the police, all it does is strengthen the case for the likes of Oscar Pistorius living in fear for his life.
