Ice cream sprinkles spark crisis

Ice cream sprinkles spark crisis

Emergency personnel around the world have to respond to hundreds if not thousands of calls on a daily basis. One emergency worker was asked to help a woman who literally had a problem with ‘hundreds and thousands.’ Take a listen…

There’s nothing like a few scoops of delicious ice cream to make your day, especially on a warm Durban afternoon. What would you do though if the person serving you the dessert left out a healthy helping of sprinkles?

Would you freak out? Would you demand your money back? Would you label the problem a national emergency?

A woman in the UK did. She became livid when she bought the treat from the ice cream van and realised she didn’t have enough sprinkles on top. She then flipped out when she was refused a refund.

She argued with the server to add more hundreds and thousands on her ice cream but the person flat out refused saying she’ll have to accept what she’s got.

That’s when she had the not-so-bright idea of calling the cops. Yes, she dialled the emergency line, a number reserved for life and death situations and other crises.

The one minute audio recording of her conversation with the operator’s been made available for the world’s listening pleasure. Take a listen to the entertaining clip here:
