Stumpnose and kob caught at St Lucia
Updated | By Staff Writer

The latest Kingfisher update said that St Lucia and Cape Vidal have seen some edible fish caught mainly at night, especially at Vidal, south of the Lighthouse.
Cave Bass, Stumpnose, Kob and a few small Kingfish have been coming out.
In Mapelane the Shad are out of control, but the majority of these fish are still undersized. However, there have also been reports of good catches of Kob in the 20 kg range.
Fishing is improving in Richards Bay with Shad and Kob of all sizes on the bite when the conditions are right.
Durbanites can expect overcast weather this morning with a 60% chance of rain showers later. SSW winds of 19kms/ hr have been forecast and its going to be cool with a high of only 21 degrees.
Surfers can look forward to a slight increase in the wave size but depending on how hard the SW blows, the Durban beachfront may be your best option and we will have to see if the swell wraps in between the piers, otherwise a coastal mission tomorrow may be worth it.
