No load shedding reprieve as Eskom extends power cuts
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
South Africans will not receive any load shedding reprieve as power utility Eskom has extended power cuts until Friday.

Stage 1 load shedding will now be implemented during the day, while stage two will run at night until Friday.
Spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says the increased load shedding has been caused by a delay in returning four generating units to service.
"The delay in the return of two generating units at Camden, one unit each at Kendal and Matimba power stations have contributed to the generation capacity shortages. This has subsequently contributed to the generation capacity shortages."
