Magudumana's bail postponed for investigations

The bail hearing of Thabo Bester's alleged accomplice Nandipha Magudumana has been postponed.

Magudumana appeared before the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
She was joined in the dock by co-accused, Tebogo Lepholo, Senohe Motsoara, Nastassja Jansen, Buti Masukela and Teiho Makhotsa.
They are accused of helping Bester escape from a maximum security prison in Mangaung a year ago.

The convicted rapist and murderer was sentenced to life in prison. He was recaptured in Tanzania several weeks ago while on the run with Magudumana.
Chief Magistrate LP Mbasa says Magudumana's matter will resume next week.
"Ms Magudumana, your case is hereby remanded until 16th of May 2023. It is for the purposes of investigations. You will remain in custody until then."
