IEC wants MKP court challenge to go ahead
Updated | By Bulletin
The Independent Electoral Commission has asked the Electoral Court to go ahead with the MK party’s challenge of the outcome of the general elections.

The party withdrew its case earlier this week.
But the IEC says the MK party made serious allegations, including accusing it of deliberate vote-rigging.
It's says it’s imperative that the matter is heard.
The IEC is asking the Electoral Court to at least confirm whether the accusations were made vexatiously and without just cause.
It's also pointed out that the MKP has also not offered to pay for the wasted litigation costs.
