'I accept the sentence': Bonginkosi Khanyile
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
Fees Must Fall activist, Bonginkosi Khanyile says he accepts the sentence handed to him by the Durban Magistrate's Court.

He was arrested for his involvement in the protests that swept through the country's tertiary institutions in 2016.
Speaking outside court, Khanyile said he remained a free man.
"I accept the sentence. They are sentencing an idea. They are not sentencing me. My body, my mind and my soul is free. I am a free and innocent man," Khanyile said.
Khanyile says there is still some way to go before fee-free higher education is a reality for all South Africans.
"The struggle of free education must continue and we stand by the cause that we committed ourselves to - that education must be free in terms of its monetary value and in terms of its content. In South Africa, free education is not there - it's still being partially implemented," he said.
