Durban ready for Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk

Durban residents will put their best foot forward on Sunday as they take part in the Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk.

In less than 48 hours, at least 30 000 participants will participate in one of Durban's biggest outdoor events.
The route begins at uShaka Beach, running along the Durban Beachfront promenade and culminates at People's Park.
Acting marketing manager Zama Khawula, says final preparations for the event have been successfully concluded.
Meanwhile, Metro Police's Lindiwe Putuzo says officers will be out in their numbers ensuring the event runs smoothly.
Putuzo explains the road closures below, saying motorists are being urged to use alternative routes on the day of the event.
