The road where a fatal car crash took place near Crinkley Bottom Park, west of Durban, remained closed on Tuesday morning.

One person died in a head-on collision between a minibus-taxi and a bakkie on Inanda Road.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, says emergency crews were still attending to other injured passengers.
" A total of 16 people had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to critical, and were stabilised on scene by advanced life support paramedics.

"A decision was made to bring in a medical helicopter to rapidly transport one of the critically injured patients to the Albert Luthuli Specialised Hospital. The remainder of the patients were stabilised on scene by advanced last support paramedics before being transported to various Durban hospitals for the further care that they required.
"One patient, a male, believed to be in his forties, who was the driver of the light delivery vehicle, had sustained fatal injuries and, unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do for him. He was declared deceased at the scene."
