Cele warns against speculating on cause of George building collapse
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Police Minister Bheki Cele says the main focus at the site of a building collapse in George remains pulling people out of the rubble.

The death toll on Monday rose to 24, with 28 remaining unaccounted for.
The five-storey building collapsed with dozens of construction workers on site last week Monday.
Rescue officials have been on the ground ever since, trying to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
Cele visited the Southern Cape town on Sunday and met with the families of the victims.

He said they cannot speculate on the cause of the collapse.
"We usually give the public information that has been found by the investigation. We do not predict what we think.
“The investigation that police have started, nobody knows the exact number from the go until now. For us to know exactly those, we must get the identification documents."
