WATCH: Man linked to traffic officer's attack in custody

A man who is accused of attacking a traffic officer is due to appear again in court on September 8.
The attack which occurred outside a school in Nigel, Johannesburg was captured on camera by bystanders and has since gone viral on social media.
The 34-year-old - who made his first appearance at the Dunnottar Magistrate's Court on Tuesday - is seen shoving the officer to the ground and dragging him.
Members of the public who watched the incident are seen cheering.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation says the officer had spotted the man parking on the wrong side of the road outside a primary school and confronted the man who then turned on him.
The officer is said to be recovering after the incident.
