LISTEN: KZN students plan protests following fees announcement
Updated | By Lucky Khanyile
Student leaders at UKZN and Mangosuthu University of Technology say they will mobilise students for more protests following the Higher Education Minister's recommendation for fees to be hiked.

Blade Nzimande says the increase may not exceed 8% for the 2017 academic year.
The UKZN's Sphelele Nguse says they're going to continue with protests action since today's announcement is still against them.
"Tomorrow morning we have a march from Pietermaritzburg campus going to the legislature to raise our grievances and raise our call for free education. And other campuses I believe they are also organising. What we want as students is free education," he said.
The MUT's Ronnie Madlala says there can't be recommendations while the commission appointed by President Jacob Zuma hasn't pronounced on free education.
Meanwhile, students at Wits University say they will shut down the institution.
They've already barricaded some of the entrances to the university.
