Hlaudi Motsoeneng to remain at SABC in new role
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The SABC says its former COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng will stay on at the public broadcaster.
He will be the group executive for Corporate Affairs, a job he previously held at the SABC.
Last week, the Supreme Court of Appeal upheld a Western Cape High Court ruling that the permanent appointment of Motsoeneng as COO was irrational and invalid.

Motsoeneng has plans to return to the COO chair.
"As an individual, I accept the court ruling, I accept that the SABC should follow the proper process. I'm going to apply - like any citizen in this country - and one for sure, I believe in myself, I believe that everywhere I am I do miracles, and I'm going to do those miracles," he said.
Meanwhile, outgoing public protector Thuli Madonsela says she will be taking a closer look at Hlaudi Motsoeneng's new appointment.
She says she wrote a letter to Communications Minister Faith Muthambi, warning her that appointing Motsoeneng as Acting COO - would not only be a contravention of the Public Protector's report, but also the finding of the Court.
