This is what the ‘Dad bod’ looks like

The term was brought to attention by Mackenzie Pearson a 19-year-old student at Clemson University who wrote a piece about them for her student website The Odyssey. 

Her title 'Why Girls Love the 'Dad Bod' caught the reader’s eye and she defines the term like this: 

"The dad bod says, 'I go to the gym occasionally, but I also drink heavily on the weekends and enjoy eating eight slices of pizza at a time.' It's not an overweight guy, but it isn't one with washboard abs, either."
