Post Office works to refuel delivery fleet
Updated | By Benedict Ngwenya
In an e-mail response to Newswatch, the South African Post Office's communications department says it is working to resolve the matter.
It has encouraged those wanting more information to liaise with the local post office's branch manager or contact its national call centre.
An official in the department would not be drawn on the reasons why they can not buy fuel.
However, media reports say the parastatal's petrol cards are not working and they are negotiating with banks.
The latest development follows a crippling national strike last year that lasted four months as workers demanded better pay.
