I wish I didn't know this about my Mom!

'I remember a very awkward moment that happened in my very formative years when I was in the kitchen with my Mom early one week-day morning preparing sandwiches before I was off to primary school...
I remember asking my Mom; ‘Mom, I didn’t know you were a Star Wars fan’ and she was like; ‘I’m not a Star Wars fan Darren’ and I was like; ‘No Mom you are a Star Wars fan’ and my Mom asked me; ‘What makes you think I’m a Stars Wars fan?’
I innocently responded by saying; ‘Well, you have all the stuff from Star Wars and you obviously love the Jedi Knights and their weapons...’ My Mom looked at me and said; ‘I have no idea what you are talking about!’
I said to her that she didn’t have to hide it, it’s not just a kid’s thing, adults and kids alike all love Star Wars. My mom still didn’t know what I was talking about! She told me to pack up my lunch and head to school.
I then said to my Mom that she has nothing to feel embarrassed about because there are a lot of Star Wars fans all over the world.
My Mom couldn't understand where I was getting this from and I said to her; ‘Well I noticed you have a lightsaber in your bed-side table...’
This was followed by a looooong silence and the moment of realization in my Mom’s eyes and then another looooong awkward pause and then my Mom said; ‘That’s not a lightsaber and you shouldn’t be going through mommy's bed-side table!’
I never did find the lightsaber again, not for lack of trying. But some years later I did find Jaba the Hut's whip and Chewbacca's chains and I remember hoping that my Mom hadn't gone to the Dark Side!'
