'I could never date a woman like you'
Updated | By Staff Writer
Yesterday, I went to visit a friend of mine and when I arrived at his house, there was a friend of his around.
For the sake of this story, let's call the friend Sipho.
Sipho is an extremely wealthy young man and he's around 31 years old.
As we were talking, Sipho said to me "Zaba, I could never ever date a woman like you."
I responded by asking him what “a woman like me” means, and he said by a woman like me, he meant a woman who is independent.
He then went on to say that he doesn't like dating women who don't need him financially and that he doesn't feel like a man when his lady isn't asking him for weave money, or petrol money or asking for shopping sprees.
Each to his own, my brother, but I thought how many gents out there think like this?
So gents, do you agree with Sipho? And ladies, do you look for a Sipho when picking someone to date or are you financially independent?
