Hello Nottingham Road!
The East Coast Radio Breakfast Tour will roll into Nottingham Road on the afternoon of 21 July 2014. Are you ready for some fun, action and loads of selfies?
Darren has chosen your part of the province for the third stop of the tour that kicked off on 18 July in Umlazi.
Darren, Natarah from A-Far-Ra, Good Guy Gabe and Gorgeous George will be broadcasting live from 6am to 9am on 22 July 2014 from Rawdon’s Estate.
But broadcasting isn’t the only thing they’ll be doing there. The team will be making their own beer! We can’t tell you which members of the team are more excited than others but we can say that whoever they are, they can’t wait!
This exclusive brew will be named after East Coast Radio and Darren wants you to help name the beer and design the label. But he’ll tell you all about it when he gets to Nottingham Road.
That’s not all he has up his sleeve though. The Stunt Guy, Kevin, is in for a nasty shock.
We haven’t told him yet, but Darren plans on sending him to spend the night at the infamous Room 10 in Notties Hotel. Will K-K-K-Kevin (to pronounce it ala Darren-Maule-style) rise up to the challenge? And more importantly, will those rock-hard pecs of his be of any use against Charlotte?
K-K-K-Kevin is part of the East Coast Radio TV crew that is travelling with Darren on the tour. In fact, a contingent of 25 people will be on the customised bright yellow East Coast Radio Breakfast Tour bus when it rolls into Nottingham Road. Make sure you get your pic, or at least catch the eye of the official tour photographer!
