Release arrested students: Student activists
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Students who marched through Durban's CBD today want all students arrested during the fees protests across the country to be released unconditionally.
This was just one of the demands contained in the memorandum the students handed over to a representative from the mayor's office and the president of the Durban Chamber of Commerce.

Other demands include that any person in the country arrested during university protests be kept separate from suspected criminals in police holding cells.
Student activist Gazaza Nduli says they will continue to protest tomorrow - adding that this evening, different campuses will meet to pave a way forward.
"Obviously we have an intention of continuing putting pressure; obviously not going back to lectures," he said.
