Car engulfed in flames outside King Shaka Airport

No injuries have been reported in an incident where a car burst into flames at a parking lot at the King Shaka International Airport in the early hours of the morning.
Firefighters have extinguished the inferno at the parking lot while photos from the scene show a car engulfed by flames in a shade cloth covered parking area.

"The driver had tried to move the vehicle out of the
shaded parking thus confined the fire to one vehicle only so it does not
spread to vehicles parked next to it. The fire began in the engine
compartment, the driver smelled smoke and was able to move the vehicle
before it caught fire," he said.
