Thousands want this YouTuber banned
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
These pictures are upsetting people all over the world and they want her to be banned from YouTube.
Wow, talk about a concerning and dangerous situation. Over the last few days, thousands have signed a petition to ban 22-year-old blogger Eugenia Cooney from social media.
Most comments have echoed concern about her weight - or lack thereof, and most of her posts and videos show her wearing very little clothing. The dangerous side of this, other than it being such a cry for help, is that young girls are aspiring to be like her. A little 12-year-old girl ended up in hospital and is being treated for anorexia. Eugenia is her idol.
I think this situation, given the platform and power of social media, could really be used as such a powerful message of influence, but that's obviously only if Eugenia admits that she is not well and took her fanbase on a journey of self love and healing.
As it stands though, I wouldn't like my daughter to look up and aspire to look like her.
Woke up like an hour ago good morning guys 😸 how are you doing today? 💕
