School kids jump for joy as disabled boy walks for first time
Updated | By Damon Beard
What an awesome moment to capture on camera!
I've watched this particular video over and over again, and each time it just gets better!
You know how we always say that kids can be really nasty?
Well, here's a hugely emotional moment where kids aren't nasty - in fact, they're anything but!
A young, physically-challenged child, who was born paralysed and has never been without a wheelchair, walked for the first time while being encouraged by classmates and a teacher.
Suffering from an disease caused by a virus that attacks the spinal cord and causes muscle atrophy and paralysis, this little guy's excitement is too much to handle when his classmates start chanting "David, David, David, go, David go".
This encouragement saw him rise from his chair and slowly start to walk.
It's a beautiful moment and when you watch the footage, you'll know why the video has gone viral.
