These fish can weigh up to around 32 kilograms.
The crevalle jack is a predatory fish which feeds on both other fish and crustaceans.
Crevalle jack are famous for their fierce fighting ability when hooked and are often targeted by recreational anglers.
They are also targeted by commercial anglers, but are not considered great eating.
