Fallen trees and floating debris can sometimes produce excellent fishing.
Here in KwaZulu-Natal bass anglers tends to enjoy fishing close to fixed or floating structures.
Dorado anglers also look for floating debris or anchored cargo ships when targeting these beautiful fish.
I remember Alain Tardin hooking and losing a large dorado right next to a container vessel off Umhlanga last December.
The dorado tend to lurk in the shadows of these large ships and then pounce on prey as they pass.
