Etzebeth set for Japan stint
Updated | By Gareth Jenkinson
Cape Town - Springbok and Stormers lock Eben Etzebeth is reportedly set to become the latest South African to play his trade in Japan.
According to japonrugby.net, Etzebeth will join Bok flyhalf Handre Pollard at the NTT-Docomo Red Hurricanes after this year’s Rugby World Cup in England and Wales.
As is the case with Pollard, Etzebeth’s contract with the Japanese club will only be for three months.
That would see him return to play to the Stormers in next year’s Super Rugby competition.
His contract with Western Provin ce expires at the end of the 2016 season.
