Suspect in custody after Pinetown shooting

Emergency services say the man, thought to have been in his 60s, was found lying next to a bakkie on Westmead Road yesterday afternoon.
ER24's Russel Meiring says he'd been shot several times.
"On assessment, we found that the patient had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and back. Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his injuries," he said.
The police's Thulane Zwane it's believed the elderly man was at a truck stop when he was approached by the suspect.
"The motive is still unknown at this stage but we are investigating the matter. The suspect was immediately arrested and faces a charge of murder," he said.
The suspect will appear in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court on Monday.
