Were you also like, “Where did Flip Flop Friday come from?”

Natarah says her toes haven’t seen the outside world since the beginning of winter.

That was several months ago, Nats?!

To get her feet looking fashionably fabulous again, our East Coast Breakfast co-host has turned to beauty therapist, Sharon Vosloo, for some quick DIY tips.

Step in the right direction with her expert advice.

It’s guaranteed to turn your crusty feet into sensational steppers!

1. Give your feet a really good soak in warm water.  You can add a bit of salt.

2. After soaking you can clean up around the nails gently with an orange stick, removing all old dry skin and remaining dirt.

3. Then shorten and shape your toe nails.

4. Remove dead and rough skin from your feet with a foot file.

5. Use a rolled tissue to separate your toes and paint your toes with a coat of base coat (We used Fix Plus by Pronails)

6. Paint your toes with a nail colour of your choice. Remember two thin coats is better than one thick coat.

7. When dry, you can add something special – maybe some artwork or a sticker.

8. Coat with a good top coat (We used Activ Hardener from Pronails)

9. Finish with some cuticle oil (We used Vitimina from Pronails) and rub your feet with a foot cream (We used Pevonia Multi-Activ Foot Cream)

10. Slip into your flip flops for #FlipFlopFriday!
