ANCYL wants Mandonsela investigated

The league briefed the media in Durban this afternoon following a meeting of the Provincial General Council this weekend.

Provincial Secretary Thanduxolo Sabela has echoed the sentiment of some ANC MPs also saying Madonsela misled the public through her "Secure in Comfort" report looking into the security upgrades at Zuma's private home in Nkandla. 

Sabela says the public has lost confidence in her leadership and the league does not believe that with Madonsela at the helm, her office will be able to tun efficiently.

''We're happy that Thuli Madonsela has been exposed for what she really is, an agent working against the democratic government. 

''There is money that was paid to consultants yet she continues to mislead the public that there's over R240-million spent building the president's house, when the reality of the matter is that it's not,'' he said.
