Strict security measures surrounding matric marking in KZN

Education officials say they have ensured that ample security is in place during the marking of matric exam scripts.
Education MEC Mthandeni Dlungwana visited one of the province's marking centres at Glenwood High School in Durban as marking begins today.
Dlungwana says there is a security officer at stationed at each and every marking centre in KZN.

He says one of the prerequisite is the scripts of all students must be accounted for.
"In terms of us losing the scripts or any other foul play - we have introduced serious security measures with regards to that. If anything beyond that happens - we will take the necessary decisions," he said.
