A rugby analyst says Saturday's Rugby World Cup victory in France perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the Springboks.
The four-time world champions are scheduled to arrive home on Tuesday morning.
The Boks defended their title against the All Blacks on Saturday in a nail-biting final.
Rugby analyst Dylan Jack believes the match perfectly captured the spirit and character of the Bok team.
"It was one of the greatest defensive performances you can receive from an international team, and it was an incredibly resolute performance from the Springboks, just playing for the people back home.

“Not willing to give in or give up despite being put under immense pressure by one of the great attacking teams of the modern era in the All Blacks, even though the All Blacks were down to 14 men, they themselves deserve credit for bouncing back from that."
Political analyst Lubna Nadvi says the unity the rugby match and the tournament brought to the country has been nothing short of amazing.
She says sport allows people to forget about the various issues facing the country.
"When South Africans are feeling very low about the reality that they face, that they can support their team to win at an international level, and that really brings people together."
