LISTEN: Zuma won't step down or be impeached: Justice Malala
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
Political commentator Justice Malala believes the Public Protector's State Capture report has given President Jacob Zuma a "get out of jail free" card.
Malala was speaking at the Durban ICC this morning at a gathering of business leaders in KZN.
The meeting comes a day after the release of the report - looking into allegations of improper conduct by the President, over his relationship with the Gupta family and their alleged involvement in the removal and appointment of ministers and directors of state-owned entities.

Malala says the affected parties have the right to take the report on review - which could result in legal challenges before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry ordered by the Public Protector is appointed.
Malala says recent events have shown the strength of institutions and the rise of civil society.
But he says there is still turbulence ahead.
"What we've seen is part of what's going on inside that organisation - spilling out into the society. I think we'll see maybe one, maybe two, maybe three incidents again - over the next 12 [or] 14 months, that's going to have an impact on the rand, the bond market. This is because that battle inside the ANC is not resolved," he said.
