Minister honours top matric achievers for 2016
The final results are in for the Class of 2016 and the top performers have been honoured for their hard work in their final examinations.
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga announced the pass rate of the 2016 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations in Midrand, Johannesburg.
Those topping the list received prizes including laptops, cell phones and tablets.
