KZN schools ready for start of 2017 academic year

The KZN Education Department says it's all systems go ahead of the new school year, tomorrow.

Officials say all schools in need have received textbooks and are prepared for the year ahead.

Spokesperson Kwazi Mthethwa says there have been no glitches thus far.
"We have visited almost all schools in the province. The MEC for Education, together with members of the KZN legislature - they have been going around to monitor if everything is in order. We have received reports to confirm that it's all systems go," he said.
