LISTEN: Heavily armed robbers target two banks at Scottburgh Mall
KZN police are searching for 10 suspects who targeted two South Coast banks in an armed robbery, in the early hours of this morning.
Scottburgh police are investigating a case of armed robbery, after the suspects targeted the banks - situated inside the Scottburgh Mall - at around 1am.
Armed with rifles, the robbers approached the mall's security guards and tied them up.
Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says they then used explosives to try and enter the banks' safes.
