Four school children killed in horrific Ntuzuma crash

Four school children have been killed in an accident while they were on their way to school in Ntuzuma, north of Durban.

Paramedics and other emergency personnel were at the scene of the collision that involved a minibus-taxi and a bus.
The victims included three boys and a girl - aged between 12 and 16.
KZN Emergency Medical Services' Robert Mckenzie says police are investigating the cause of the accident.

"Paramedics and emergency services are currently busy at the scene of a tragic crash near the Ntuzuma bus depot. Initial reports from the scene are that as many as four people have sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The exact number of victims at the scene is still being determined," he said.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says more than 20 other people, including children, were injured in the crash near the Bus Depo on Nyala Road.
