AU hopes to establish continental university

The African Union Commission Chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has told those gathered at her state of the continent address that Africa needs to get skills development right in order to become a prosperous continent.
She says more needs to be done to increase higher education access across the continent.

The AU has also identified some gaps in the education. They have decided to start a continental university starting with five campuses of excellence," she said.
Dlamini -Zuma was addressing her last briefing with the media as her tenure as chairperson of the continental body draws to an end.
