Arson case opened after UKZN building set alight

Msunduzi firefighters have managed to extinguish a blaze at the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Pietermaritzburg campus.
A building on the campus burnt down in the early hours of this morning.
Msunduzi Fire and Rescue Services told Newswatch earlier that crews were still at the scene.

This comes as a cafeteria was set alight at UKZN's Howard College Campus in Durban on Monday night - an incident suspected to be linked to recent unrest at the institution.
It's still unclear what sparked the blaze. Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says officers are investigating.
