Tackle internal divisions, says Zuma
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
President Jacob Zuma has kicked off proceedings at African National Congress' National General Council in Midrand.

Zuma opened his address by emphasizing the ruling party's core values such as tackling racism and sexism.
He has also touched on internal squabbles around the time of the party's Mangaung conference which he says weaken the party.
"The internal divisions within the movement had unfortunately exploded into the public arena due to problems which had not been attended to for a very long period of time. The important lesson in this comrades, is that when there are problems, attend to them immediately.
''Don't leave them to fester. Whenever there's a problem, tackle it immediately and deal with it, put it behind you and move forward,'' he said.
