Do you think he was deserving of such a scheme?

It takes a real sense of hurt and anger to concoct a plan of revenge on someone.

A Reddit user shared his story of a co-worker that was not just lazy and spiteful, but also had bad work etiquette.

He worked for a construction company that would remodel homes. One of their rules at work is that if they find anything hidden in the walls, they get to keep it. More context will be provided soon...

The Reddit user shared that out of desperation, his boss hired a worker who was quite inexperienced in comparison to the other staff. In addition, he got fired from his last job in accounting due to driving under the influence.

This new guy would make fun of the Reddit user often and one day he took it too far by taking his phone and sharing private pics of him smoking weed with his boss.

The Reddit user admits that he has given up smoking weed and that the boss and him actually share an eight-year friendship. But this is what spurred on the act of revenge.

"I was so mad that he violated my privacy...He was the kind of guy who would always come in late and complain that trains or traffic is why he was always late. One day I over heard him saying that if he won the lottery he would quit this job for not getting the "respect" he deserves.

"One day I bought some fake gold coins online and i put them in a metal box i found at the antique store and waited for a chance to hide it in a wall...

"The day he found the coins it seemed like it was his best day ever. First thing he did when he opened the box.. he called my boss a fing loser and he quit immediately on the spot. He said" f this place..im rich"... Lol.. little did he know was that, that was the best day of my life. " (Reddit)
