Should we cancel bring and braais forever?
Updated | By Vic Naidoo
It always sounds like a good idea to bring and braai, but
those things gatherings often turn out to be the worst.
Covid-19 has meant that we are not allowed to gather in groups and that has a lot of us suffering from social withdrawal.
But one thing I’m glad we’re not doing is the bring and braai.
Those things can cause you a lot of trauma.
First of all, deciding what to bring for food and drink is a mission.
Then you get there with your meat and snacks and everyone wants to make them their own.
The worst part is the waiting in line to braai.
Now you have to wait and watch as people eat while you haven’t even put your meat on the flame.
The whole point of going to a bring and braai is communal eating but that never happens.
What are some of the golden rules of a bring and braai?
